You are right about the Sooper Scoops. I think they were from Jack-in-the-Box. Kinda like Tater Tots. Look at the shoulders on that little guy. You were built like a little fire plug.
Must be California beaches, when you were stationed at Beal, the kid is the Phoebe "Feebee" kid when they visited us from England. Would be about 1977.
Right on! The kid is Scott Phebe. We were on the way to Disneyland. This would be you kid's first time to the Magic Kingdom.
The funniest thing about this trip was when we left Scott and his dad, John, to go on to SLC for their first visit, they stocked their rental car with all the different fruit flavored Shasta sodas they could find.
Sweet! I finally got one right. I had forgotten that we were going to Disney Land. I did't realize that we did that at the same time. I still remember the Disney Land trip. We just took our kids this summer and I had a flood of memories come back. It really is a magical place, and the happiest place on earth.
